Q: How can I check wether the EZ-Algae unit
is working properly?
A:
DO NOT PUT CLOSE TO EAR. Listening attentively, the transducer’s slight
ticking noises may be heard, with an irregular rhythm. Also there are
two LED's light up on the printer plate, 1 LED lights up in the feeding
module.
Q: Will this work on aquariums?
A: YES. The smallest unit available is the AL-05 and is much oversize
but will work great.
Q: Is it better to oversize or undersize the
unit?
A: Oversize. It is better to have a unit that covers more than the area.
This will not cause negative results. Units too small will not give you
good results.
Q: Will this harm the fish?
A: NO
Q: Will this harm the plants?
A: NO
Q: Can I leave the unit in during winter?
A: YES. The EZ-Algae unit has been molded in a certain way that being
"frozen in" into ice does not cause damage.
Q: Do I leave the unit on all the time?
A: YES. 24/7 exposure yields greatest results and provides a
preventative solution to algae development in your water.
Q: Does it kill all algae?
A: YES. Some algae, such as string algae can take much longer
(3-10weeks) while other algae, such as blue-green algae is affected
quicker (7-12 days)
Q: Is it safe for swimming pools?
A: YES. EZ-Algae does not harm humans, animals, fish, or plants. Only
Algae!
Q: Will this harm the plants?
A: NO
